The project for the construction of a new pier for cruise ships in the city of Los Cabos San Lucas in Baja California, Mexico, arises from the imminent need to have a docking point for cruise ships of the international network, due to the evident increase in the arrival traffic.
With an overall vision and developing a unique project of its kind, bold in its conception and profitable in its operation, this project is developed to increase the arrival of cruise ships and encourage the economy of the place and make a totally profitable work with bathymetry studies of the seabed and with the Royal Caribean simulator.
Construction process
​The construction proposal for this cruise pier is with a steel structure which does not mean that it is more fragile than the traditional concrete piers.
